- In our ninth year delivering the South Australian Dairy Awards for DIAA SA and the Royal Adelaide Show & Horticultural Society, the event remains one of the most anticipated nights on the industry calendar. The 2024 awards, themed "A Symphony of Dairy," were held at Adelaide Oval and MC’d by Casey Treloar, bringing together producers, partners and industry leaders for an evening that celebrated excellence, innovation and regional pride within South Australia’s dairy sector.

Guests were welcomed into a candlelit space beneath freestanding chandeliers, accompanied by a live Bridgerton-style string quartet that set a romantic, elegant tone. A standout feature of the evening was the complete integration of finalist dairy products throughout the menu — from canapés to dessert — expertly curated by Adelaide Oval’s culinary team to showcase the quality and diversity of local producers. The signature cheese and chocolate grazing table, designed by Poppy’s Pantry Adelaide, was a perennial favourite, while the Golden North affogato station added a nostalgic finishing touch. Guests also enjoyed a live cannoli station, with fresh cannoli piped to order as part of the dessert offering. Through careful sponsorship management, the entire menu and grazing experience was generously donated, creating exceptional value for guests while turning the awards into a true celebration of the people and products at the heart of South Australia’s dairy industry.
